Sri Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations at the Sacred Grove

Let's come together for Janmashtami at the Sacred Grove for the joyful celebration of Sri Krishna's birth, followed by a day of retreat to contemplate on the life and teachings of Krishna.

Duration: 2 days, 2 nights

Venue: The Sacred Grove, Chowdepalle

Check-in time: 12:00 PM, August 15, 2025

Check out time: 11:00 AM, August 17, 2025

Those opting for 'No Stay' are warmly welcome to arrive 30 minutes before the start and remain up to 30 minutes after the scheduled activities each day. The schedule will be shared with registered participants.

Please note that Sri M will NOT be present for the celebrations.

  • Registrations are open and shall close as soon as we reach the number of entries equal maximum capacity plus waitlist.
  • Kindly note that registration does not automatically confirm your participation in the Retreat.
  • Once the registration request is accepted, contribution details will be communicated to the participants on their registered email IDs.
  • We request that you wait for at least 2 days before contacting us for any confirmation related information.
  • Only registered & confirmed participants will be allowed to participate in the event.
  • NO spot registrations will be permitted.
  • Registration slots are non-transferable, and the participation contribution is non-refundable.
  • Number of seats is limited. They will be allotted on availability and various other criteria.
  • All members are requested to ensure that their TSF profiles are completed with Citizenship and PAN details.

Highlights

Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations
On the evening of August 15,  participate in Pooja, Abhisheka and Arati, at the Madanagopala shrine. 

Sankeerthan & Bhajans
The evening will come alive with heartfelt kirtans, and devotional music by renowned singers of classical music, drawing us into the spirit of collective joy and surrender.

Gau Puja & Dahi Handi Utsav
Begin the day of August 16 with Gau Puja, honouring the gentle companions of Krishna, followed by the Dahi Handi celebration, re-enacting the childhood mischiefs of Gopala. 

Solitude and Contemplation
On 17 August, after the celebrations, retreat into the serene ambience of The Sacred Grove to reflect on the life and teachings of Sri Krishna.

The contributions cover: This contribution covers stay (except for option C) for 2 days and 2 nights, all meals and various expenses for infrastructure arrangements etc. required to conduct this event.

  • A Unique Identification number (UID) is required for everyone between 13 and 70, to register for any event of The Satsang Foundation.
  • Members with existing unique TSF ID can register by logging in to their account at https:/mepl.satsang-foundation.org/. Individual profiles on the TSF web app need to be completed before registering for the event.
  • New members can click here to generate their unique TSF ID first and then register for the event.
  • If you would like to register with a family member, or a friend, along with you, it can be done only if you have their unique TSF UID/registered email. Create their unique ID before registration begins and keep it handy with you.

100% 7 days or more prior to the start of your arrival date
75% 5-6 days prior to start of your arrival date
50% 4 days prior to start of your arrival date
Non-refundable 3 days or less prior to the start of your arrival date
  • All refunds will now include GST charges.
  • Partial refunds will also include a proportional refund of GST charges.
  • The refund will be processed within seven working days.
