Continuing with the series of Self-Retreats on the Upanishads at The Sacred Grove: Centre for Exploring Consciousness, Chowdepalle, Andhra Pradesh, we are pleased to share that a Swadhyaya retreat on Mandukya Upanishad, has been scheduled from September 12th to 14th, 2025.

Chaturmasya (4 months of Monsoon) is a suitable time to pause, retreat and reflect over the essence of life, especially since Varun Dev, the Rain God, is said to have shared it in the form of Manduka - the frog. 

Join us in the conducive ambience of The Sacred Grove,  to share Sri M’s Teachings on the possibility of metamorphosis with the aid of ‘Aum’ - the Pranava, a bridge that could take one from the material world to the beyond.

More recently, in July 2025, Sri M inaugurated “Advaita” - the meditation hall at the Sacred Grove, like in the tradition of the Advaita Ashram of Sri Ramakrishna Mission, AUM( image) is the only symbol of the supreme reality. 

The directions towards the journey of transformation would be unfolded through Sri M’s elaboration of the essence of this Upanishad. 

Chanting of the Shlokas of the Upanishad will be taught in the traditional manner with accurate intonations (swara), along with correct pronunciation (varna), length (Matra) and continuity (santana).

  • Registration slots are non-transferable, and the participation contribution is non-refundable.

This contribution covers stay for 2 days and 2 nights, all meals and various expenses for infrastructure arrangements, etc., required to conduct this event.

100% 7 days or more prior to the start of your arrival date
75% 5-6 days prior to start of your arrival date
50% 4 days prior to start of your arrival date
Non-refundable 3 days or less prior to the start of your arrival date
  • All refunds will now include GST charges.
  • Partial refunds will also include a proportional refund of GST charges.
